Paul Buentello Victorious at UFC 57

Ultimate Fighter Championship veteran Paul The Headhunter Buentello victorious at UFC 57. Paul demonstrated amazing athletic ability and conditioning by skillfully and accurately delivering spinning back kicks and head kicks to his opponent Gilbert Aldana in the first round. Gilbert was ferocious in the first two and a half minutes but quickly gassed due to lack of conditioning and experience under the big lights. Paul quickly finished off Gilbert in the second round on the ground by maintaining side-control and delivering powerful body-shots and elbows to the head.

Universal Motor Recruitment Patterns

CrossFit uses functional universal motor recruitment patterns – which gets the body, or something moved by the body, efficiently, effectively and quickly from one place to another. These movements are universal in that they are found everywhere, in everything you do from homemaking to military combat. Jumping, pushing, pulling, throwing, running, climbing…movements that mimic what you do in life as opposed to lateral raises, flyes or leg curls…which are non-functional and artificial. Proper, powerful athletic movements require a core to extremity connection. Symphony, not solo.
